Inventory and invoicing for Canadian small businesses
Keep a modest product catalog, track stock and invoice your customers in one workspace. Built for Canadian small businesses and small wholesalers moving beyond spreadsheets.
An account is required. Enable Products & Inventory in Business Settings.
InvoiceNorth connects a product catalog to customer invoices. Save product names, SKUs, selling prices, optional costs and stock levels, then select those products when preparing an invoice. Import or export your catalog using CSV instead of re-entering each item.
Create an account and enable Products & Inventory in Business Settings. The feature is off by default. Once enabled, Products and Inventory / Sales appear in the navigation and product selection appears on invoices. Add your products and opening stock, prepare a draft, then finalize the invoice to update stock. Drafts do not reduce inventory.
Review low-stock alerts, stock adjustments with reasons, inventory valuation and simple sales reports. Estimated gross profit uses saved invoice-line costs; products without a cost are identified. These reports help you review product sales alongside your invoicing records.
For Canadian billing, use CAD, editable GST/HST and Quebec GST/QST fields, English or French documents, and Interac e-Transfer payment instructions. Tax is currently applied at invoice level: review invoices that mix taxable and non-taxable goods.
This workflow suits businesses with a small catalog that invoice customers directly. It does not provide purchase-order receiving, weighted-average inventory costing, multiple warehouses, Shopify synchronization or 3PL integrations. Expense tracking and accountant-friendly exports support record keeping; InvoiceNorth does not replace a full accounting ledger.
